Animating Greek Mythology: Heroes - Perseus - Progress Update 3

This is a cropped render from Blender. I have finished Perseus's tunic; this one is separated into pieces to also allow for it to warp with the movement of the body/legs.

These are some of the supporting characters' heads. From left to right: Polydectes, Dictys, Acrisius, and Athena, soldier.

I had been going back and forth on whether or not everyone should be in profile view at all times. It seemed like the wrong move, especially considering the variety of poses on real Attic-era pottery. So, I made a front-facing male body.

Here is Perseus in front-facing view. I haven't made his secondary face for this pose yet.

Here is a set of bronze armor that will be worn by background guards/soldiers in the city of Seriphos. I will have the Argos soldiers wear Linothorax to keep them easily identifiable (even if they won't share the same screen...)

Here is a preview of this scene's layout in Blender.

This is a render from the new scene I am working in. I decided to go with a Cinemascope widescreen aspect ratio so that I can leave room on the top and bottom of the screen for subtitles.

Here is the previous render (with some minor changes), now with a mockup of the overlay I will have displaying the subtitles. I plan on adding accent artwork to these areas, right now I am thinking of adding some columns/pillars holding up the ends.

I am playing with the idea of implementing either English or Greek subtitles depending on which language it is narrated in. I may also decide to have one language on top and one on the bottom depending on how quickly the text can be read on the screen.
